Lacey Lamour grew up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in North-Eastern Nevada. She spent her summers riding horseback through the mountains and her winters skiing in some of the most beautiful parts of the west. The mountains and lakes of her childhood and the old western movies were her inspiration for this series set in the town of Redemption in the late 1800’s.
